If a match is interrupted and continued within 48h after initial kickoff, all open bets will be settled with the final result. Otherwise all undecided bets are considered void.

Regular 90 Minutes: Markets are based on the result at the end of a scheduled 90 minutes play unless otherwise stated. This includes any added injury or stoppage time but does not include extra-time, time allocated for a penalty shootout or golden goal.

If the market remains open when the following events have already taken place: goals, red or yellow-red cards and penalties, we reserve the right to void betting. If a wrong score is entered, all markets will be cancelled for the time when the incorrect score was displayed. If a match is interrupted or postponed and is not continued within 48h after initial kick-off date betting will be void. If the team names or category are displayed incorrectly, we reserve the right to void betting. In case of any score or card/corner/penalty related changes, we reserve the right to void betting on any video assistant referee (VAR) situation.

War Of Bets

SHORT DESCRIPTION

War of Bets is a card game involving two sides - Player and Dealer. It uses a standard playing card deck. The higher card wins. If the two cards played are of equal value, then there is a "War".

GAME PROCESS

The game is played between two sides – the Player and the Dealer. The dealer deals one card face-up to each side in every draw of the game. Cards are dealt one at a time and the Player always receives the first card. The goal of the game is to get a higher card according to the ranking (Aces counts as highest cards only and deuces counts as lowest). A War (Tie) occurs if the Player and the Dealer have the same value cards. In this situation War (Tie) outcome wins, both Dealer and Player loses.

First round bets can be placed even before the cards are dealt. Punters can bet on one or more available outcomes. Second round bets can be placed after the Player receives the first card and odds are updated. Bets made in the previous betting round have no influence on further bets therefore punters can place bets on the same or different outcomes more than once.

In the event of a War (Tie) punters who placed bets on this outcome are paid their winnings. Bets placed on the Player and (or) the Dealer are lost.

    6+ Poker

    SHORT DESCRIPTION

6+ Poker (also known as ‘Short-Deck Hold' em’) is a poker game very similar to the popular Texas ‘hold ’em’.

The game is played between two sides – the Player and the Dealer.

The gameplay sees each side looking to win the best five-card poker hand from any combination of the seven cards (five community cards plus the two cards the player is dealt).

Being a 36-card deck, 6+ Poker does not have twos, threes, fours and fives. This changes the probability of combinations and alters winning hands.

Exciting changes include a flush ranking higher than full house, and a three of a kind beating a straight.

Like traditional poker games, aces are the highest card and can make both low and high straights. For example, the lowest straight would be (A-6-7-8-9) and the highest (10-J-Q-K-A).

    Baccarat

    SHORT DESCRIPTION

“Bet-on-Baccarat“ is a real-time game with almost the same procedure and rules as Baccarat (or Punto Banco).

    GAME PROCESS

The game is played between two sides – the Player and the Banker. The dealer deals two cards face-up to each side in every draw of the game. Cards are dealt one at a time and the Player always receives the first card. In special situations the third card is dealt to the Player and (or) the Banker. The goal of the game is to collect a total sum of points as close as possible or equal to 9 (nine) after no more cards can be dealt according to the rules. A Tie occurs if the Player and the Banker have the same number of points.

The value of numerical cards from Deuce (2) to Nine (9) is equal to the number of points of the given card. The value of Face cards and Ten (10) is zero (0). Ace has a value of 1 (one) point. All card points are summed up to calculate the total sum of player’s points. If the total sum is expressed in a double-digit figure, the score of the Player is the right digit of the total of the cards.

For example, the sum of Nine (9) and Four (4) is 13, so the score will be 3. The sum of Seven (7) and Eight (8) is 15, and the score will be 5.

First round bets can be placed even before the opening of the first card. Punters can bet on one or more available outcomes. Second round bets can be placed when the Player receives the first card and odds are updated. Bets made in the previous betting round have no influence on later bets, therefore punters can place bets on the same or different outcomes more than once. Third round bets can be placed when the Banker receives the first card and odds update. After this betting round the Player and the Banker receive the second and, if necessary, the third card(cards). The results are calculated and the winner of the draw is displayed on screen.

In case of a Tie, punters who placed bets on this outcome are paid their winnings. Bets placed on the Player and (or) the Banker are void and punters get their stakes back (odds are equalised to one (1.00)).

      20. Small – total of dealt Player and Banker cards is 4.
      21. Big – total of dealt Player and Banker cards is 5 or 6.
    2. Rules:

      1. The game is played between two sides – the Player and the Banker. The dealer of the game deals two cards to each side in every draw of the game. In special situations the dealer deals the third card to the Player and (or) the Banker. The rules of dealing the third card are described in paragraph 2.6.
      2. Dealing:

        1. Cards are dealt to sides by one card in turn until both sides have two cards face-up.
        2. The Player always receives the first card.
        3. When both sides have two cards face-up, the situation is assessed and in accordance with the fixed rules (see 2.6) it is determined whether the Player and (or) the Banker should receive the third card.
      3. The goal of the game is to collect a total of points as close as possible or equal to 9 (nine). The winner of the game is the side whose sum of points is closer to 9 (nine) after no more cards can be dealt according to the rules.

        1. Tie. A Tie occurs when the Player and the Banker have an equal sum of points. In the event of a Tie punters who placed bets on this outcome are paid their winnings. Bets placed on the Player and (or) the Banker are void and punters get their stakes back (odds are equalised to one (1.00)).
      4. Card value in points:

        1. Ace has the value of 1 (one) point.
        2. The sum of points of numerical cards from Deuce (2) to Nine (9) is equal to the number of points of the given card.
        3. The value of Face cards (Jack, Queen, King) and Ten (10) is zero (0).
      5. Calculation of the total of points:

        1. All card points of each player are summed up to calculate the total sum of player’s points.
        2. If the total sum is expressed in a double-digit figure, the score of the Player is the right digit of the total of cards. For example, the sum of Nine (9) and Four (4) is 13, so the score will be 3. The sum of Seven (7) and Eight (8) is 15, and the score will be 5.
        3. Additional bets:

          1. In addition to the main bets like Player, Banker or Tie there are extra betting options such as bets on pairs and bets on the total of dealt cards. Odds for these outcomes change with each betting round.
          2. Bets on pairs (Player Pair, Banker Pair and Any Pair) apply only for the first two cards of the Player and Banker. The third card does not count and is not used to form pairs.
          3. Bets on the total of dealt cards can be placed as well. Bet on Small wins when the total of dealt cards is 4. Bet on Big wins when 5 or 6 cards are dealt.
          4. Additional bets are not linked with the main bets. It is possible to place the main bet on Player and additional bet on Banker Pair and vice versa. Additional bets can be placed without betting on the main bets.
      6. Tables for the rules of dealing the third card:

        1. The Player’s table:
        2. The Banker’s table:
      7. Exceptions to the Rules:

        1. If Player or Banker is dealt 8 or 9 points in the first two cards, such hand is called a Natural hand, and no more cards are dealt. The total sums of the Player and the Banker points are calculated and the winner is announced. This rule supersedes all other rules.
        2. If Player is dealt 6 or 7 points in the first two cards, and Banker is dealt 5 points, or less (0, 1, 2, 3, 4) in the first two cards as well, then the Banker gets the third card.
    3. Gameplay:

      1. The first betting round. Bets can be placed even before the dealing of the first card. Punters can bet on one or more available outcomes.
      2. The second betting round. After the first betting round the Player receives the first card and new odds for the betting outcomes are displayed on screen and the second betting round begins. Bets made in the first betting round have no influence for bets of the second betting round therefore punters can place bets on the same or different outcomes more than once.
      3. The third betting round. After the second betting round the Banker receives the first card and new odds for the betting outcomes are displayed on screen and the third betting round begins. After this betting round the Player and the Banker receives the second and, if necessary, the third card each (see 2.6). The results are calculated and the winner of the draw is displayed on screen.
      4. Change of cards:

        1. When less than 40 cards remain in the shoe, the dealer announces that the shoe will be changed after the ongoing draw.
        2. The dealer places all used and unused cards to the used card box. Empty shoe is replaced with a full and ready to use shoe with shuffled cards. The full used card box is replaced with an empty box as well. This change is made real-time when punters and audience can see it.
        3. After change of cards is completed, the dealer announces that 3 – 6 cards from the top of the newly presented shoe will be discarded. Number of cards(3/4/5/6) discarded is generated randomly during each change of cards.
      5. The shuffling of cards. ; comes and shuffles the cards while everyone sees it and prepares the cards for dealing. Both shoes are visible on screen all the time so punters can see the shuffling and change of cards.

    Instant Virtuals

    The game

Sporty Instant Virtuals is an instant virtuals game that allows you to place real-money bets on computer-generated sports matches. Whilst the matches are randomly generated, artificial intelligence is used to make the strengths of the virtual teams be very close to that of real-world teams, so the odds should be similar to a normal, real-sports match.

In Sporty Instant Virtuals, each round has 10 matches. Each round has a live video that takes 25 seconds, with all matches running at the same time, but as this is instant virtuals, you can click the skip button to skip the live video and get a result right away.

The live video of each round will be randomly selected from the matches which you bet on. In the event that you bet on multiple matches, the match with a green football next to it is the one the live video is being shown for.

All match simulations are created through a combination of artificial intelligence and independent random number generators.

    Roulette

    What is the "Roulette"?

Roulette is a game where the little white marble goes around a spinning wheel. A marble ball is spun around the outside of the bowl until the ball eventually stops in a division of the wheel. It is quite fun!

The divisions around the wheel are numbered from 1 to 12 in a seemingly random pattern and alternate between red and black colours. Additionally, there is a green division with the number 0.

    How to play "Roulette"?

Making a bet is easy: simply place your chip(s) on top of the number(s), color, or sets you believe the marble ball will stop on.

    2. Coupon Gifts, these offer a discount when spending a required amount of money when placing a Bet. It is of conditional use.

All gifts have an expiration date. Please go to your account by clicking on "Me" to check all obtained Gifts by clicking on "Gifts".

    Flexible Bet

    1. Flexible Bet is only available for Multiple Bets and only if 1 Multiple Bet is in your ticket.
    2. Flexible Bet is only available for Pre-Match Betting. All selections must be for events that have not yet started.
    3. Flexible Bets cannot be Cashed Out.
    4. A ticket is won only if a certain amount of the selections are correct out of all selections. For example, a customer chooses 5 or more selections to be correct out of a total of 7 selections and the odds is 15. This means that this customer will only win this ticket if 5 or more selections are correct out of a total of 7 selections. However, odds will be fixed at 15, no matter if the customer wins 5 or more selections out of 7 selections.
    5. If a selection in a Flexible Bet is voided or cancelled, then that selection will be considered lost for the purpose of calculating the Flexible Bet’s winning amount.
    6. For certain Multiple Bets, only a certain amount of Flexible Bets is made available. For example, if the amount of total selections is 20, then the minimum selection that you pick is 14.
    7. Flexible Bets were created in order to reward our most valued customers. If fraudulent activity or abuse is suspected, we reserve ourselves the right to remove Gifts and associated winnings from a given account or any associated accounts.

    2. Account Details

2.1 SportyBet allows all its customers to choose their own username and password combination. Customers must keep this information secret and confidential as you are responsible for all bets placed on your account and any other activities taking place on your account.

2.2 Bets will stand if your username and password have been entered correctly (whether or not authorised by you), subject to there being sufficient funds in the account.

2.3 If, at any time, you feel a third party is aware of your user name and/or password you should change it immediately via the Website. Should you forget part or all of your combination, please contact us.

Should you lose your account details or feel that someone else may have your account details, please contact us.

2.5 Please note that cardholder details and any other sensitive data should never be sent to us by unencrypted email.

    4. Suspension and Closure

4.1 If you want to close your account, please contact us. Any negative balance on your account will fall immediately due and payable to SportyBet, and your account will not be closed until the relevant amount owed to SportyBet is paid in full.

4.2 SportyBet reserves the right to close or suspend your account at any time and for any reason. Without limiting the preceding sentence, SportyBet shall be entitled to close or suspend your account if:

    C. YOUR FINANCES

    1. Deposits and Bets

1.1 You must confirm your account information to receive your first deposit. The name confirmed on your first deposit will be used as your SportyBet account name. For bank withdrawals, you may only withdraw to this name.

1.2 You may only bet with the amount of cleared funds held in your account. Accordingly, if you want to place bets or participate in gaming, you must deposit monies into your account. Further details of how to deposit, withdraw and transfer funds can be found at Deposits/Withdrawals.

1.3 By depositing funds into your account, you direct us and we agree to hold them, along with any winnings, for the sole and specific purpose of using them (i) to place your sporting and gaming stakes; and (ii) settling any fees or charges that you might incur in connection with the use of our services (Purpose). We shall be entitled to suspend or close your account if we reasonably consider or have reason to believe that you are depositing funds without any intention to place sporting and/or gaming stakes. In such circumstances we may also report this to relevant authorities.

1.4 All funds that we hold for you are held in separate designated customer bank accounts to be used solely for the Purpose and the bank has acknowledged this. We must return the funds to you if they are not used for the Purpose.

The bank has acknowledged that your funds are held in those accounts solely for the Purpose. The bank has confirmed that it will not mix customers’ funds in those accounts with any other, including our own, and that it has no claim on the funds itself.

In view of the above, in the event of our insolvency, your funds are protected. The funds would still belong to you and would not fall into the hands of the liquidator.

1.5 You agree that we shall be entitled to retain any interest which might accrue on monies held in your SportyBet account.

1.6 No credit will be offered by any employee of SportyBet, and all bets must be supported by sufficient funds in the customer account. SportyBet reserves the right to void any bet which may have inadvertently been accepted when the account did not have sufficient funds to cover the bet. Should funds be credited to a customer's account in error it is the customer's responsibility to inform SportyBet without delay. SportyBet will recover such funds by account adjustment.

1.7 Unless otherwise stated, all examples given on the Website are given in NGN. For any transaction which requires a currency exchange, the applicable exchange rate will be the mid-rate as quoted by the Financial Times. The currency options available are listed in Appendix One to these Terms and Conditions and on the Website.

1.8 Once a currency is selected, funds are deposited, wagered and winnings paid in that currency. In order to transact in a different currency, you must close your existing account by contacting us and open a new account with your preferred currency.

1.9 SportyBet shall be entitled to withhold and/or retain any and all amounts earned or received by you as a result of or in connection with your ‘unauthorised’ use of the Website including activities which are not for an authorised purpose.

    2. Withdrawals

2.1 For bank withdrawals from SportyBet accounts with a confirmed name, SportyBet generally only allows withdrawals to bank account names that match the confirmed name on the SportyBet account.

2.2 Withdrawals can be processed by clicking 'Withdraw' on the Website, subject to there being sufficient funds in your betting account.

2.3 If the value of a deposit is not played through in full before a withdrawal is requested, SportyBet reserves the right to make a charge to the customer’s account to cover all reasonable costs relating to both the deposit and withdrawal. If necessary, the value of the withdrawal requested may be reduced accordingly.

    3. Other

3.1 If we incur any charge-backs, reversals or other charges in respect of your account, we reserve the right to charge you for the relevant amounts incurred.

3.2 We may, at any time, set off any positive balance on your account against any amounts owed by you to SportyBet or any company within the SportyBet group.

3.3 You are responsible for reporting your winnings and losses to the tax and/or other authorities in your jurisdiction.

3.4 Internet gambling may be illegal in the jurisdiction in which you are located. If so, you are not authorised to use your payment card to complete the transaction. However, any bets/wagers accepted from such jurisdictions will stand - win or lose.

    D. BETTING PROCEDURES

    1. Placing Bets

1.1 SportyBet reserves the right to decline all, or part, of any bet requested at its sole and absolute discretion. All bets are placed at your own risk and discretion.

1.2 We only accept bets made online (including via mobile device or downloadable applications on a mobile device). Bets are not accepted in any other form (ost, email, fax, etc.) and where received will be invalid and void - win or lose.

1.3 It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure details of their bets are correct. Once bets have been placed they may not be cancelled or changed by the customer. SportyBet reserves the right to cancel any bet at any time.

1.4 Your funds will be allocated to bets in the order they are placed and will not be available for any other use. SportyBet reserves the right to void and/or reverse any transactions made after a bet has been placed involving allocated funds, either at the time or retrospectively.

    2. Bet Confirmation

2.1 Bets will not be valid if there are insufficient funds in your account.

2.2 A bet that you request will only be valid once accepted by SportyBet’s servers. Each valid bet will receive a unique transaction code. We shall not be liable for the settlement of any bets which are not issued with a unique transaction code. If you are unsure about the validity of a bet, please check your account history, or contact us.

2.3 Notwithstanding the above, if bets are placed via a credit or debit card they are not valid until we have received payment in full. The bet will be automatically void if we have not received the payment prior to the relevant event commencing.

2.4 Should a dispute arise, you and SportyBet agree that the SportyBet transaction log database will be the ultimate authority in such matters.

    3. Offers

3.1 All customer offers are limited to one per person, family, household address, email address, telephone number, mobile device (e.g. mobile or tablet), application download or shared computer (e.g. public library or workplace).

3.2 Where any term of the offer or promotion is breached or there is any evidence of a series of bets placed by a customer or group of customers (e.g. where common betting patterns across the same fixture/markets have been identified across accounts), which due to a deposit bonus, enhanced payments, free and risk free bets, or any other promotional offer results in guaranteed customer profits irrespective of the outcome, whether individually or as part of a group, SportyBet reserves the right to reclaim the bonus element of such offers and in SportyBet’s absolute discretion settle bets at the correct odds, void the free and risk free bets or void any bet funded by the deposit bonus. In addition, SportyBet reserves the right to levy an administration charge on the customer up to the value of the deposit bonus, free and risk free bet or additional payment to cover administrative costs. SportyBet further reserves the right to ask any customer to provide sufficient documentation for SportyBet to be satisfied in its absolute discretion as to the customer’s identity prior to SportyBet crediting any bonus, free and risk free bet or offer to the customer’s account.

3.3 SportyBet reserves the right to withdraw the availability of any offer or all offers to any customer or group of customers at any time and at SportyBet’s sole and absolute discretion. Offers only apply to customers who have made an actual/real money deposit with SportyBet.

3.4 SportyBet reserves the right to amend the terms of or cancel any customer offer or promotion at any time.

    4. Settlement and Payouts

4.1 All bets are subject to the Rules for the relevant sport / market / game set out in the How to play section and the provisions set out in Appendix Two to these Terms and Conditions.

4.2 SportyBet reserves the right to suspend a market and/or cancel any bet at any time. When a market is suspended any bets entered will be rejected. SportyBet also reserves the right to cease betting on any markets at any time without notice.

4.3 The "Potential Win" calculation available on the Website is for information purposes only, and all bets will be calculated using the stake/risk at the odds accepted. In multiple bets/parlays with a void selection(s) the "Potential Win" figure is reduced accordingly.

4.4 Should a customer include a non-runner or void selection in a multiple bet/parlay, the bet will be settled on the remaining selections.

4.5 Winnings from settled bets are added to the balance of your betting account. Any funds/winnings credited to an account in error are not available for use, and SportyBet reserves the right to void any transactions involving such funds and/or withdraw the relevant amount from your account and/or reverse the transaction, either at the time or retrospectively.

4.6 SportyBet reserves the right to withhold payment and to declare bets on an event void if we have evidence that the following has occurred: (i) the integrity of the event has been called into question; (ii) the price(s) or pool has been manipulated; or (iii) match-rigging has taken place. Evidence of the above may be based on the size, volume or pattern of bets placed with SportyBet across any or all of our betting channels. Any decision made by SportyBet in this regard will be conclusive. If any customer owes any money to SportyBet for any reason, we have the right to take that into account before making any payments to that customer.

4.7 Where there is evidence of a series of bets each containing the same selection(s) having been placed by or for the same individual or syndicate of individuals, SportyBet reserves the right to make bets void or withhold payment of returns pending the outcome of any subsequent investigation.

4.8 For events where there is no official "off" declared, the advertised start time of the event will be deemed the 'off'. If for any reason a bet is inadvertently accepted after an event or match has commenced (other than live In-Play betting clearly indicated on the Website), bets will stand providing the final outcome is not known, and that no participant/team has gained any material advantage (e.g. a score, sending off for the other team, etc.) at the time the bet was placed. If the outcome of an event/market is known SportyBet reserves the right to void the bet, win or lose. Disputes over times bets are placed will be settled using the transaction log. All times stated on the Website and/or referred to by SportyBet staff relate to GMT unless stated otherwise.

4.9 In-Play Betting - where we have reason to believe that a bet is placed after the outcome of an event is known, or after the selected participant or team has gained a material advantage (e.g. a score, sending off for the other team etc.) we reserve the right to void the bet, win or lose.

4.10 If for any reason we are unable to validate the outcome of a particular market (e.g. due to loss of live pictures), all bets will be void, unless settlement of bets is already determined.

4.11 Where a customer gives ambiguous instructions, SportyBet reserves the right to split the amount of monies staked between the potential outcomes. Where this is impractical we reserve the right to void the whole of that bet. In any event, the decision of SportyBet is final.

    SportyBingo

    1. SportyBingo is a sort of a "Lucky Draw" game. Prizes of SportyBingo are distributed as Cash. To be eligible for the lucky draw, customers must purchase shares of a given item.

    2. Each purchased share will correspond to a given number. If a customer has purchased 11 shares, this means that the customer also has 11 corresponding numbers attributed to each share. These can be viewed in the customer's orders.

    3. When a lucky draw of an item starts, a lucky number will be generated. The lucky number will be generated as follows:

      (a) Every item has a total of X purchasable shares.

      (b) Above generated number is moded by total share number of this prize and the remainder plus one is the final lucky number.

    4. The holder of a share with the same number as the lucky number will be the winner of this item!

    BETTING PROVISIONS

    Sports and Special Event Betting

We accept bets/wagers for sporting and other special events that are advertised on the Website. All such bets/wagers are subject to the rules applicable to each sport, e.g. Soccer, Tennis, Boxing, etc. In a match between two teams where the participants are named, if any player is replaced prior to the match starting, all match bets placed prior to the change will be void, win or lose. Our general betting rules will apply to any situations not covered by the special rules.

The result of a match or event will be determined on the day of its conclusion for betting purposes, subject to confirmation by the relevant sport's governing body. Any subsequent enquiry that may result in an overturned decision will not be recognised by SportyBet, and original settlement of bets will stand.

If the venue for a sporting event is changed, all bets placed based on the original venue will be made void and stakes refunded, unless otherwise stated.

    Minimum bets amount

The minimum bets amount for each order is the relevant value defined below based on the currency of the user’s account: NGN 30.

    Maximum Winnings

The maximum winnings for each bet is the relevant value defined below based on the currency of the user’s account: NGN 7,000,000.

Multiple bets which combine different selections within the same event are not accepted where the outcome of one affects or is affected by the other.

For example, in a football match involving Arsenal and Everton:

If the odds for Manchester United to win at home against Tottenham are 2.00 and the correct score odds for Manchester United to win 1-0 is 8.00, by having the multiple bet of Manchester United to win and the correct score to be 1-0, a customer would be getting 16.00 for an bet that should have odds of 8.00, as if Manchester United win 1-0 they would automatically have won the match.

An exception to this rule is where special odds are offered for the combined eventuality, e.g. First Player to Score/Correct Score, known as a Scorecast.

When the related parts of a bet are resolved at different times but still within the same tournament, the bet will be settled as instructed, with the price of the second or subsequent selection being determined at each individual stage.

For example, a multiple bet of:

Nadal to win the semi-final of Wimbledon; and

Nadal to win the Wimbledon tournament outright.

As the odds of the second selection depends on the outcome of the first, the odds of Nadal winning the tournament at the time the bet was struck cannot be used to calculate the multiple bet, and the correct odds after the initial selection is completed will be attributed instead.

Multiple bets which combine different selections within different events are also not accepted where the outcome of one affects or is affected by the other.

For example, a multiple bet selecting:

Formosa to win the 2000 Guineas; and

    Formosa to win the Derby.

As the odds for Formosa to win the Derby depend on whether she wins the 2000 Guineas, the odds for her to win the Derby at the time the bet was struck cannot be used to calculate the multiple bet. A special price to win both races will be quoted instead.

In the case of all multiples including selections with related outcomes, if a bet is taken inadvertently SportyBet reserves the right to void part of or the whole of the bet.

These Terms and Conditions are effective from 01/01/2018.
